Gross, some are actually Yahoo Mail-based.

I like my Outlook, able to create multiple Alias accounts for different online sites.

Gmail is another great web mail service, tons better than Yahoo Mail.

Yes, it does seem odd that Gmail isn't on the list.

I've been very pleased with Gmail over the years.

Gmail ????

LOLOL. I did not even notice. I swear I am not trying to spam. LOL

http://www.anonamail.com/ might be worth a look if you are receiving and sending sensitive data.

Hmm, well I see that no one likes Yahoo. One thing though I know you can do with it is create a disposable email addresses. That meaning you can give this to someone and they will not know your actual email address.

Wow, I must of got this when they still had it free, because I don't remember paying for this. Sad that you have to pay to protect yourself against spam.

Outlook.com IMO is the one that has improved the most, the old hotmail was nowhere and even though it was my first email address i rarely used it.But the revamped outlook is actually better than gmail.

Even I get the Alias option on my free yahoo mail. Till what I know paying just removes the adds and allows you to put branding. But as Earth said GMAIL and Outlook are overtaking.
Another good service is GMX MAIL.
I like Gmail and Hotmail. Gmail was conceived by an Indian, Rajan Sheth while Hotmail was made by Sabeer Bhatia.

I wouldn't trust the listings on this site - http://www.100toplibrarysites.com/?cat=Free%20Email

For one they list freeze.com (a known malicious site)- http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/freeze.com
(blocked by many host file blocking lists, antivirus and WOT)

Many of the links are out-dated, some are parked domains.
Watch about clicking any links on that website, Avast blocked some of them, others were blocked by MVPS Hosts.

Looks like the site hasn't been updated in many years.

Netscape Mail for example hasn't been in service since 2006, it is now part of AOL Mail.

Probably why Gmail isn't listed.

Thanks.:D

I figured that was the case.
It seems like inactive sites are sometimes considered to be attack sites by WOT, etc.
