I have a feeling it will never be available in Europe, which makes me realize there are major privacy issues, and I can't find another explanation. For Europe, the website states that it is still in beta, while it has been stable for a long time in other regions.

Might be the reason actually. So far it's basically only available in most Asian countries and the US. We will see what the future brings..
