Hey @annaegorov, thanks for sharing, but this seems more like a general software recommendation rather than a security or malware topic. If optimizerDuck has specific security benefits or relates to malware prevention, feel free to elaborate! Otherwise, we might want to keep discussions focused on those areas.
I haven't the EXM program, but as I've used similar ones in the past I would think using it with extreme caution is advisable, in my case after a C:\ image- At the moment I use O&O ShutUp & its been around a long time & causes no problems - There really are only so many optimizations you can do with really messing things up, that's my view of using Windows for years, some of the pay for features I would not use after looking at the video, but that's only my opinion??

Tried the free version, it did not change anything noticeable for the CPU, GPU, network or performance.
It lacks info for each tweak about what it does - exactly.

It all depends on what pc you have. My older weaker pc:s performance could benefit from "tweak" programs, this one i have now, not so much.
I suppose those 1000 settings to change is a lot of reg.tweaks to make registry handling easy. That could be interesting. But without info about what it can change i will not pay for it. Many changes already now is like lottery because of lack of info.
Watch the video then you don't have to "suppose"...It's easy, it's a free tool for those who want it, if people don't want it, that also is free, and if someone wants to support the developer he offers a pro version.....
I have watched it. The program makes me curious about it, but the lack of deeper info about what the different settings do is a reason for not trying it out more then i have. Maybe you can forward the info about the info lack so the info gets added.
There is much more info on their website, see if that answers your questions and feel free to correspond with them they are nice and friendly.
V2 just dropped today and this introductory video sure makes the utility look very cool......
