The New FS Protection by F-Secure Corporation will cover Windows, Mac, and Mobile devices (Android smartphone and tablet devices using Android 4.0 or later – iOS and Windows Phone 8 - Coming soon).

Similar to other products such as: Bitdefender Sphere/Family Pack or Panda Global Protection, FS Protection protects all your computers, smartphones and tablets with one simple solution. With My FS Protection you manage the protection on your devices; for example, if you buy a new device, you can easily switch the protection from one device to another to make sure that all of your devices are protected at all times. Each FS Protection account can handle up to 5 devices.
FS Protection is available for following platforms:

Windows
• Windows XP (32-bit, SP3)
• Windows Vista (32-bit and 64bit, SP2 or newer)
• Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit) • Windows 8 (32-bit and 64-bit)
* ARM based tablets are not supported

Mac

Hello,
After many Technology Preview releases, we have reached a new milestone. We are making changes to the way we will handle subscriptions to products in the future, and this will cover Windows, Mac, and Mobile clients.

Because of these changes, we have started a new evaluation program, called FS Protection. At the same time, we will be closing the existing Technology Preview programs for Windows and Mac, and no further software releases are planned for those.

FS Protection brings the ability to manage your protection on multiple devices from one place. Currently we support Windows, Mac, and Android, but other devices could be added in the future. If you buy a new phone, you can add the protection to that without needing to contact us. Each FS Protection account can handle up to 5 devices. FS Protection clients are based on our existing products, so have the same features and more.

Unfortunately, we are not able to automatically switch you to the FS Protection, and as valued beta users, we would like to invite you to join the FS Protection program. You can do this by visiting https://beta.f-secure.com/

If you switch to FS Protection, you do not need to manually uninstall the Technology Preview software from your computer. The installation process for FS Protection handles the transition for you.
If you do not wish to switch to FS Protection, you can continue using the Technology Preview until your license expires. Please note that there will be no software upgrades for it, licenses will not be renewed, and we will stop processing feedback. However it will continue to receive database updates for the protection.

New version (TP122) of FS Protection for Windows released

Hello,
We are pleased to announce that the Windows version of FS Protection has now been updated, immediately available for first time installation, and will be automatically updated for your existing systems today/tomorrow.
The main changes in this version are:
° Icons and colors updated for better visibility
° Action Center automatic popup is limited to once per 6 hours
° Browsing Protection: Internet access will be blocked from non-signed programs during banking session.
° Browsing Protection: Active connections will be disconnected from non-signed programs immediately after Banking Protection mode is launched.
° Browsing Protection: Only supported browsers may trigger Banking Protection mode.

New version (TP122.1) of FS Protection for Windows released

Today we are releasing a new version of FS Protection for Windows. This release should fix the issue which caused Windows to require Activation, or missing Display Drivers.
Please note that this release only fixes the initial problem. It does not re-activate the Windows, or fix the missing drivers, unfortunately you still need to do that yourself.
Instead, it fixes the original problem that caused these issues in the first place.
We sincerely apologise to you for the inconvenience this issue may have caused. While we try to avoid such issues, sometimes they only show up in external testing such as in FS Protection.

Today we are releasing a new version of FS Protection for Windows. It is immediately available for first time installation, and will be provided as an upgrade to existing clients later today.

This release brings the following features, together with many bugfixes
• Common: Removed Device ID information from client, since that does not match Safe portal device name and is confusing
• Common: New icon for upgrade (visible only in next upgrade)
• Antivirus: New style for On-Access Scanning dialogs.

Common

• "Product timeline" window is now re-sizable.
• "Check for updates" window now has the "View details" link that opens the Common settings/Updates page. Note that the link text is English only in this release, localizations will be available soon.

• Browsing Protection plugin now is enabled automatically for Internet Explorer and Firefox. This feature can be disabled on the Browsing Protection Settings.

• Main GUI no longer has buttons to open other installed F-Secure products like F-Secure Key. Browsing Protection, Safe Search, Beta feedback and My FS Protection buttons still remain.

Hello FS Protection users!
We have made our final update to the My FS Protection Portal for this year. The main improvement in this release is the ability for you, the subscription owner, to remove your invited users from your subscription. Simply click on their circle and click ‘Remove User’ to do this. Once removed, that user will no longer be able to install clients to their devices using your licenses and all previously installed clients will expire. Additionally, the invited users can also choose to stop using the subscription by clicking on a link as instructed in the welcome email.
Have you already invited your friends and family to share your FS Protection subscription? How about protecting their devices too as a New Year gift to them! It’s as simple as opening the My FS Protection page and clicking on ‘Add User’.
Lastly, if any of you notice any icons or images appearing oddly, please clear your browser cache and re-load the portal again.
