I've always thought of G-Data to be quite heavy on resources.

I've always thought of G-Data to be quite heavy on resources.

Last time I've tried it ( 3 months ago) was G-Data Internet Security 2012 run very smoothly on my machine, the only minor problem would be when Windows starts up as it lags for 1 minute or so, however this happens with a lot of suites.
Overall a good test and the missed adware isn't something to really worry about, nevertheless I would like to see some modern security features like file reputation and auto-sandbox built into it.

Gdata's two powerful engine were maintain for about 2-3 years thus not a quite surprise for being a top notch product.
