PROTECTION: On a 10 point scale , based on years of usage and testing experience with this product
Anti Phishing : 6/10
URL Blocking: 8/10
Zero day defence: 9/10.

Under Zero day defence, we have multiple proactive layers working under the Hood.
Keyboard guard: To prevent keylogging and capture of key strokes.
Exploit protection: To prevent harmful files from injection/ misusing other applications for Malicious purposes.
Ex: A Banking Emotet, injecting its Code to Chrome or firefox to detect the traffic,key strokes.
Establishing a Remote CC server via a trusted process (Chrome) to prevent/ evade detection from Behavior Blockers (Process Hollowing)

Rest of the other pro active layers like Bankguard, Anti ransomware, Deep Ray, Behavior Blocking offer added protection in critical situation.

CONS:
Poor Anti phishing
Bit defender signatures are delayed (Close gap does a heavy duty)
Bugs in firewall,
May slow down Browsing speed slightly
Might cause some impact in older systems
Probably no tweaks required for additional protection.
Lacks heuristic based Phishing detection, compared to its peers (Norton, BD, Kaspersky).
Blacklist based phishing detection.Above average detections as per my experience

PROS:
Effective behavior based protection
Multiple pro active layers &Excellent unknown malware removal
Pro active components are not tied to Reactive components
Engine B (Close Gap) and Cloud signatures are faster and better compared to Bit defender buggish signatures
Dis infection and Roll back system
Great Offline Protection &Every 1 HR signature updates.
