Do you actually think and believe that all the efforts privacy paranoid types do to remain "private" or "anonymous" actually work? You will have to explain how whenever all their most valuable personal data does not belong to them (not to any of us) and resides on systems across the globe. At least half the world uses mobile devices. That means they are tracked constantly. Every second of every day, even when devices are turned off. News flash to everyone - in all likelihood your data is already on the Dark Web. There is a 3 in 4 probability of it. The 1 in 4 probability that it is not is for those folks who live "off grid" and barter goats and eggs, have no nation-state identity, do not use any smart devices, etc. The smart thing to do is to use an ad blocker, set a credit freeze on your bureau accounts, have an off-line savings account, and be informed about your consumer rights & options should the worst happen. Then go out and touch some grass. Those are far, far better uses of your time than spending time online at security forums debating about privacy. If you live under a regime or are an enemy of the state, well then, you need the services of certain types of experts - which are not generally available. Some activitist and NGOs offer the services but to only "certified" dissidents. So many "dissidents" have ended up in the "klink" because they followed the online advice on how to remain "anonymous" at forums like Wilders. A person who has to worry that they are being "monitored" by the government - LOL - it is too little, too late. They are already on the government's radar and there is nothing you can about it except to do a couple of things - stop doing what you are doing that antagonizes the government, leave the country, or live "off grid" (and still keep your mouth shut). There is a guy over at Wilders that has hundreds of online pseudonyms, creates nested virtual machines within virtual machines, then runs multiple VPNs through Tor, and all these supposed "cloaking" methods. A single server outside the control of that person got hacked and despite all that person's work to remain "private" and "anonymous" their data was revealed and taken. And to state the obvious for the truly ignorant, device and software have tracking capabilities built into them that users cannot circumvent by any means other than not using them in the first place. Now I know there are those that will argue that is not true, but they are incorrect. My guess is that they do not even understand what I just said.
