Config looks good, only thing i would add is maybe some sort of back up for your system!

Perhaps for real time protection better use with MSE instead of windows defender, windows defender is quite good for Windows 8 though, anyway thanks for sharing your config!

Nvm, I didn't read you turned on real time protection on MBAM

even turned-on , MBAM is not designed to be a standalone AV so i suggest to install a light AV (MSE for example)

I second that ... I would have a Full AV proggie running ... MSE or something else ...

MBAM Pro will try to protect from going places that you shouldn't and also possibly stopping some stuff but is NOT and AntiVirus program.

@ Gleim, you say you were infected 3 months ago ... do you care to tell us What was it? And how did you know you were Infected? And How did you Clean it?
