Good config, lot of paid softwares can be (were) already duplicate by free ones.

How do you feel Office 2013? i felt it slower than 2010.

I like the setup, only thing is why are you using Photoshop CS3? and not the latest or at least CS5? Also you can add, HTTPS Everywhere, No Script and possibly Bitdefender Traffic Light to Firefox. :)

Umbra:
I agree with you, slow start and Excel is crash when I want to insert a table

Mr.Explorer: No slowdown :) Fast boottime (45 sec) shutdown and browsnig. This config is very light on my system

McLovin: Newest programs are not always better than oldest :) Bitdefender Traffic Light instead of Bullguard Safe Browsing :)

Haha, I see. Well then let me say that again, why do you choose to use CS3 instead of CS5 or even CS6? ;)

A couple of opinions:

*Ad Blocker: Ad Muncher - You can replace Ad Muncher with a browser plugin.

*Video Player: Gom Player - You could replace with klite codecs + Windows Media Player Classic Home Edition. (I had better results as opposed to GP where there were always some avi's that wouldn't play.

*Mail Client: The Bat - If you really need a Mail client, you can use either Thunderbird (free) or Windows Live Mail for example.

*Disk Defrag: Perfect Disk 11 - You can simply uninstall and only install when needed. That saves you having the processes running in RT. Prior to PD10, there was an option to set the services to manual but that doesn't work on 11 onwards. Could also consider an alternative freeware such as Puran/Auslogics/Piriform

*Process Manager: Anvir TaskManager - You are better off with Process Explorer or Process Hacker, if you really need a process manager that is.

*Virtual Disk: Daemon Tools 4.41 - Consider instead using Virtual CloneDrive, more reliable, less memory footprint and free.

*Registry Cleaner: AthTek Registry Cleaner, WinASO, Regvac, Ace Utilities - Is there a need for 4 registry cleaners?

*PDF: Foxit Reader and Foxit Phantom - If it is mainly PDF reading you are doing but also occasionally require writting/editing PDF's, then you simply need Foxit Phantom.

I don't think you can download the older versions anywhere from what little Googling I did. I recommend using a freeware like Auslogics or UltraDefrag. In fact Windows 7's in-built defragging software is nice as well.

Just curious, how much did you pay for all your software? You do have a lot of redundancy imo.

My list, just in case:

Account Privileges: Administrator user

Ad Blocker: AdBlock Plus w/ Chrome
Uninstaller: IObit Uninstaller
File Archivers: WinRAR
Picture Viewer and Editor: FastStone Image Viewer, Google Picasa, Adobe Photoshop CS6
Video Player: VLC Media Player
Music Player: Foobar2000
Mail Client: Thunderbird, Outlook 2013
Disk Defrag: Windows Defrag
System Optimization: Auslogics BoostSpeed [on-demand/rare]
Virtual Disk: Virtual ClonDrive
Cleaning: CCleaner
CD/DVD Burning: Ashampoo Burning Studio 12
File Backup: External harddrive
Partition: EASEus Partition Master
Registry Cleaner: Don't use one but if I wanted one, I'd use Auslogics/CCleaner
PDF: SumatraPDF/Foxit Phantom
Office: Office 2013
ScreenRecorder and Capture: ScreenshotCaptor
Messenger: Skype

I think he wanted the older version because of what Biozfear(Plexx) told him about being able to set it to manual.

Prior to version 11, so 9 and 10 to be exact, you could set services to manual and only launch the software when you needed.

This is because PD services run even when there is no scheduled task.

The services are: PDAgent and PDEngine.

PD's developers created a specific exe that upon launching, it would launch the services and when you finished with PD that was it.

Here is more info.

Similar to the VMware script I posted before.

Edit: It might work for v11.

Why pay for something you can get it for free? :)

In my opinion, you may used the registry cleaner from Ccleaner since isn't provide a much aggressive results and low chance of trouble problems.
