Android/Google is adding Satellite GPS in Android 15, and if you lose your device you can go find it. If someone is missing does not mean the phone is first to go. Missing can mean lost. If abducted they can trace to the last point the phone was on the person and look for clues from there as opposed to starting nowhere with no information. If stolen you can report. If you don't care for the services, don't use android, or better yet don't have a smart phone, they still make flip/dumb phones. The services are more beneficial then they are a hindrance except for those under the illusion of privacy concerns. As stated above leave it at home or don't own one. Get a faraday bag of you must if that paranoid about it.
