Advice Request Got this from Windscribe VPN blog yesterday.

A long time "lifetime" subscriber to Windscribe but I confess I hardly use it. That newsletter/email the OP refers to dropped into my email Inbox yesterday. I am glad they took the step they did. Windscribe's reputation just moved up a notch or two in my mind.

I also go this blog and it just underlines what most of us have suspected for years. I'd like to see a truly impartial review of VPNs (the UK Computer Managzine PCPro did a review a while back and that seemed honest- they have a reputation to maintain and don't carry VPN advertisements by the way). However, they didn't investigate VPN ownership and who is behind some of these companies- something I want investigated.

I bought a lifetime subscription to Windscribe a few years ago- it was worth the gamble. The service has improved considerably over the last few years and I think it stands up against any on the market. You also have a verifiable business address and named individuals running the company (unlike many providers).
