When i use my laptop for navigate or for just word documents, I prefer my Ubuntu partition. However, recently I update my windows partition with a clean installation with focus on usability.

I have received advice, from those more knowledgeable here than myself, how using a linux distro as you do is an effective method of protecting ones privacy more so than Windows allows.
You may consider adding BleachBit to ubuntu for continued privacy.
