There is no basis for the suit if there was no malice involved.

Example- Jack can review a Movie here and trash it without any issue; but if he also states that the Director and Actors are pedophiles (without proof) then there would be an problem.

If you just received a C&D order, ignore it. It is cheap to send a letter, so they have nothing to lose. Proceeding with a frivolous lawsuit when you can recover all costs is something else again.

Like I said before we here at MalwareTips should just avoid the particulars of the suit and refrain from mentioning the Plaintiff.
The best thing we can do is to rally behind Bleeping Computer a site that helps people much like ours and is the recipient of frivolous litigation in an attempt to essentially censor all of our rights.
If you can afford to help the cause monetarily do so and if you cannot don't be ashamed but instead get the word out so people who have the means can help.
Any threads and or posts pertaining to the plaintiff and their product(s) will be deleted including this thread.All other threads will be closed.
