Hello ravenosky. Joining our community is not only great for you, it also grants me one more happy reason to appreciate having taken all those typing classes back in High School which turned out not to be such a waste after all!;) I guess cutting classes didn't hobble me as much on the keyboard as I'd feared!:p:rolleyes: Like you, I'd felt I had been a size medium in computer knowledge. This was before something happened to me,o_O something which turned out to be that either the members of MT (including those who've already posted here) did something to cause my knowledge to gather & swell or perhaps I've merely begun developing a fatter head!:p:D In all earnestness, I'm hopeful the previous, and not the latter, shall be destined to take hold of you as you will be experiencing a whole lot of fun including free Giveaways too!;):cool:

I was taught to type when I was in Kindergarten, but I never had a personal computer in the house until 6th grade though I always had access to one in school. It wasn't until recently that I started searching my hard drive for files and folders left behind after I uninstalled something to clear up more space for the stuff I did want.

"..a personal computer in the house.." when you were in "..the 6th grade.."?:):) It seems (..no, it actually was that..) I was ever the last person on my block to get a new gadget!:confused: Perhaps I'm somewhat of a "Dyed in the wool" sort of person.;) I was in my late twenties when my girlfriend (..She's now the Queen of my Domain!:p:D) insisted on getting an internet capable PC, and we've only looked up & forward since!:rolleyes: This applies to cars & travel too (lucky me, whoo-hoo!!):D
Have you had success recovering your files & folders? If you need a program that's free, and from the safe download site recommended here on MT, here's a page to the program recuva http://win.softpedia.com/dyn-search.php?search_term=recuva&x=0&y=0 *note the top two are their most up to date versions.:)
