Thanks for the welcome. I am sure I will learn a lot here. I could post my security configuration, but honestly, I don't think I have one. I know what types of activity to avoid, and I always read the small print. That is the scope of my security knowledge. You could say, I am living in a bad neighborhood, with nothing but my instincts, and fists to protect my home from intruders. As a side note, bad analogies are my forte.

You are part of a good neighborhood now, Jonny, and "Security Configuration" is just a fancy name and way of describing our "easy to fill in the blanks":rolleyes: questionare!;) It's a lot of fun, and possibly the best vehicle for taking us, your fellow members, on a road trip like "Zen And The Art Of (...Jonny5tud's Windows System's) Motorcycle Maintenance"!!:P

I just did the Config. It is somewhat embarrassing, admitting how deficient I am in this area. Hopefully, the community could help fill this gap in my knowledge. I am a fast learner, and suck things up like a sponge. Masters, please share your wisdom with this un-refined disciple.

Jon... DON'T be embarrassed. Everyone on MT has been or is in the same position as you when it comes to trying to figure out how to best configure your system. That's why we're all here. We're all STILL learning. Anyone who says they aren't is an idiot!!!

Read all you can and ask questions. You'll do fine.
