Just introducing myself
I just today upgraded to windows 7 from windows 8. Becoming reaquainted with windows after a long time in Linux. (why I didn't pick an OS... you can't pick two )

I would consider myself an upper medium or lower advanced as far as computer knowledge goes. I know more than anyone I know in real life but DEFINATELY not more than alot of folks on the 'net.

I hope I can learn a lot from this site and pass on my knowledge!

Well you can pick two, with a Dual boot ^_^ Linux is great. What distro were you using before? And welcome to the forums!!!

Before I was using Ubuntu ... either Prescice Pangolin or Natty Narwhal was the last one I had. This time... I don't know what I want to go with... I plan on "shopping" around

part of me wonders if it's really worth it though or if I have a "reason" for it other than liking Linux though.... just because there's that "what can I do on it that I cant do on Windows right now" thought in the back of my head

Like what would I boot to that for, specifically....
