Hi,

I am a Canadian student in electrical engineering (second years) with computing specialization. I always where a computer geek. Unfortunately, I didn't keep up with security aspect in computing, but else, my level of knowledge with computer is very advanced. I intend to do a master level in computing, get a ccna certification in networking...

My gear:
- full electronics lab : oscilloscope, logic analyzer, 7 power supply....
- got a homelab recently : 2x E5-2670 (8 core processor with hyperthreading) = 16 threads, 128 gb ecc ram, 2x 10gbe fiber optics, 2x 1gbe copper, raid card.... Running esxi with over 20 virtual machine
- gaming / normal usage rig : Quad bot (Windows, ubuntu, arch, fedora), i7-3770k, 32gb ram, gtx 580
- In a near future, a workstation for cad and other high end works, for education purpose (not sure about gear for that)

My activity:
- Programming (FPGA, microcontroller(firmware), computer)
- Electronics
- Video game (starcraft, halo (xbox), skyrim, fallout 4)
- Homelabing (using a homelab, aka server gear in home environment) : networking, server....
- PCB design (kicad, altium)

Activity in a near future:
- 3D design (blender, zbrush, maya, 3ds, mudbox). All free, except zbrush (come with intuos 3d)
- 2D design (krita, gimp, inkscape, corel painter student)
- 3D cad (solidworks, fusion 360 (free))
