How do I get "receive email notifications" to stick?

I check it, and when I come back I find it's unchecked. And, no, I wasn't getting the email notifications.

Do you mean "Coversations" private messaging here on this site ? Don't understand what you mean by "Stick" or "email notifications".

Can you explain in more detail or post a screenshot of your problem

I'm referring to in regard to forum threads, as in the screenshot showing after I clicked on "More Options" at the lower right corner. That box doesn't stay checked for me, and I don't get the notifications, which is what I mean by "stick."

Do you have the option ticked in the following:

Click on your Username or Personal Details from the drop down menu

Click preferences and tick the box highlighted in the attached screenshot

If you want receive email notifications for new "Conversations" (Private Messages) see the attached screenshot below

OK, thanks. I got to that Browser Preferences and checked the box.
