How do I know if the malware is using something like backboardd for "fake shut downs"?

Infected operating system
ios 18.3.1
Infected device
iPhone 16
Infected device issues
Constantly changing permissions to allow apps to access my camera, contacts, location, etc. Now concerned that when I turn it off it isn't actually turning off.
Steps taken to remove the infection
Wiped OS and created a new apple ID.

My iPhone has been infected for a long time, with multiple apps in the analytic data that are used to either remotely control my phone or send my data to someone else's computer. I was researching backboardd, and found that there's a security vulnerability where it can be used by malware to "pretend" to shut down your phone, but actually your phone is still awake and listening/watching and there are no signs of it when you turn your phone back on. How can I tell if this is happening or not?

One way to check is by monitoring your battery usage. If your battery drains faster than usual when your phone is supposedly "off", it might be a sign of this kind of activity. Also, check your data usage. Unusual spikes could indicate data being sent in the background. However, the best course of action would be to take your device to a professional or reset your device to factory settings after backing up important data.
