Wonder how good is it these days. I would test it myself but seems like HVCI broke all virtualization applications on my computer even if disabled.

Pretty sure Comodo Internet Security / Firewall does not utilize any hardware virtualization in the latest versions. I have never noticed any issues with VirusScope whether Hyper-V, Winodws Hypervisor Platform, or Windows Sandbox was enabled.
If you are having issues with other software (like Kaspersky), then you have to disable Hyper-V / Sandbox options in the 'Turn Windows features on or off' dialog.
