CFW on Cruelsister settings is good. But is it good enough to make up for security essentials?

Using MSE because it's the lightest combo with cfw on my system. Windows 7, 2GB ram.

I would say cruelsister settings with HIPS on. now- a -days everybody is following cruelsister settings without keeping in mind her expertise. she can keep her system very well free of infections without using any security software.
can we drive the same car with same speed under the same condition as a formula 1 driver can drive

As said before, you don't even need MSE, but you can keep it to trash malware immediatly after download (you waste less time and reduce the job of COMODO containment). The real question is: "Can you handle Comodo?" If yes, you are fine, if not, you may look for more simple products to use

Comodo is good, very good indeed, but not infallible. I do not know your browsing habits, but you have really light antivirus (Avast, Bitdefender free, Qihoo with its own three engines, Forticlient, Panda ...) that will help make your experience with Comodo more comfortable
