Guide: How to Activate your Copy of Windows 8 or 8.1 with a Genuine License Key

Note: This guide does not provide any license keys.
Piracy Warning: Sharing License keys is strictly forbidden. As per Rules.

If you installed Windows 8 or 8.1 without your genuine license key(s), for whatever reason, and used the KMS Client volume setup keys as a temporary measure.

Trying to Activate Windows could be a problem if this error message occurs ( 0x8007232C ) - See how to resolve the issue.
  1. Windows isn't activated.

  2. Windows couldn't be activated. Error: 0x8007232C

  3. Run (WinKey+R) > Type "slui 3" (without quotes) > Enter

  4. Enter a product key to activate Windows

  5. If successful, 'Your product key works! Continue when you're ready' > Click 'Activate'
    If not, check that you have entered in the correct characters and in order.

  6. Activating Windows... This may take a few minutes

  7. When complete, you can continue to close.

  8. Your Windows PC should be activated. Check by Computer (or This PC) > Right-click > Properties
