1. Open your browser, and type: http://home.mcafee.com/Default.aspx

click on download tab and click "free trial"

2. after that. will show like this:

3. and like this.
*you must register it with your email ,then link will given to you. but, i just do back to step 1 and download trial.
** sorry i already tried it before. that's why download show up.

4. you almost success, click on download button.

5. click "I agree"

6. then, that's it. click download.

7. Finally, you get McAfee installer.

8. install it and you can test incompability with MBAM (need to uninstall it).
* when process installation you need to type your email which you used to register on McAfee site. this about installation process.

you will download update database again with file size is 180MB

If you already have an account with an Expired Subscription, you may need to register a new account.

Hence the reason it didn't work for me. :)

Pretty standard procedure but +1 for the guide
An installer which has 180MB and which asked the user to remove MBAM... no thanks , I'll pass McAfee..:P
 
I'm going to pass on McAfee too, Rather not have to make a new account and do all this just to get an installer not to mention the 180MB joke.

yes me too.
it's like bitdefender (can't update MBAM database). this must uninstall MBAM.

their have great protection for standalone use?

+1 with jack, mcafee is awful, but why the purpose of this post? i don't see anything complicated to install it. someone can tell me?
