How to enable the links (URL) clickability - activate links in your older posts done under precedent website software platform - SOLVED manually by me, but time consuming.

Our problem:
- after the change of forum software platform from MyBB to XenForo - all links within the old posts have become unclickable, disable, not detected. This problem have all posts posted before December 10, 2013 in the morning - the date of change of the website software platform (from MyBB to XenForo). All these links are now disabled ( losed automatic highlighting - no more highlighted in blue watermark ..).

Solution (manual ..):
To activate links in these posts, click EDIT your posts one-by-one, then click on 'Save changes' button. All links in this post have become enabled, so highlighted in blue. YouTube window appears too, if posted YouTube video link.

Problem is solved on this post - then do this same to all your posts you want to enable the links.
Yes, it's time consuming, so perhaps you would find another solution - is this missing code problem, or the bug?

-------------------------------

PS.
I have done edit in all my posts on Turin Shroud topic - that was very time consuming!

- I wonder about impact on site traffic, crawling and indexing the website by search engines - when migrating to a new website software platform ..

I have checked some posts with links and those hyperlinked as far back as February 2011 and they all seem to be working fine.

If I misinterpreted your thread I apologize and please correct me

OK., these two topics as the example to you:

http://malwaretips.com/threads/mydefrag-disk-defragmenter-and-optimizer-best-defrag.4881/ - the first's post link to home page of MyDefrag - is disabled (so not highlighted in blue).

RogueKiller by Tigzy - latest version : http://malwaretips.com/threads/roguekiller-by-tigzy-latest-version.14551/ - all links in the posts by me and by Nikos are disabled for now ..

- You see this same, I think?

I have Windows XP, SlimBoat and IE8 browsers (this same results).

Not much we can do different platforms and different code.It would be a labor intensive and mind numbing task to try and edit all those threads affected.

OK., In the case that there is no solution such special code .. To ease the work of moderators, every one of his side shall arrange his own posts.
I have already repaired several topics and I would continue to increase usefulness to the readers.
Merry Christmas to all of you!

PS. It's sufficient to click 'EDIT', then click 'Save Changes' buttons.
