[QUOTE="Bikeman0I17, post: 827312, member: 66185"] I For one Do Remember the last time I was infected--March 2005 with a variety of boot sectors, and other badies, that rendered my first true Gaming AMD System dead/useless, constant crashes, machine bios infected, rootkits, and more PC shop found, at the time I was a tester for Windows Live One Care, why for a long time I was uneasy using Defender for protection. But since my habits changed, and i'm more careful what I do, starting to resume using Defender for System Protection on Household Systems as 1 tired of Avast ads, False Positives, the monthly program updates/reboots, the reboots for there emergency updates to take affect, and possible compatibility issues that may crop up. I feel like now I made right decision, after 2 months of Defender use on main system and laptop for a long time, full scan with Malwarebytes found nothing, either did ADWcleaner, so I must be much safer than I was back in 2005.
