One thing about Deja-dup is that you seem to need to backup each account individually.

I tried setting up a group and gave group rights to read files. Then I used 1 account to backup everybody that belongs to the group. The backup worked. But when restroing, everybody's files were restored with the owner set to the backup account, instead of their original file owner's accounts. So don't try this.
