I like to keep my software up to date on a daily basis re patches, updates and upgrades.

Luckily I have 16 gig ram but for sure i would do the same as you if i had less

I have 12GB DDR3 of RAM, but I let it for editing tools and gaming.

I would remove Superantispyware.
There is no need to have both Zemana Antimalware & Zemana Antilogger both running.
If you are using the Antilogger protection then I would remove Zemana Antimalware as Zemana Antilogger contains the same Antimalware protection just with Antilogger protection.

Re gaming - I am considering using EZ Game Booster. however I would like to test it out and other apps also before seeing if it is worth using

Personally I don't like these type of magic programs that promises that your PC will run as new or increase the ingame FPSs because the majority of cases the things get worse.

Many thanks for the reply Exterminator. I have a lifetime license for Zemana Antimalware after being a beta tester. I definitely prefer MBAM to Superantispyware, but again I have a lifetime license for that app

My own reaction is also to tend to be sceptical. I will test them out first to see if they help

Actually SecureAplus or Voodoshield is all you need then the rest are on demand scanners.

Some of these I have lifetime licenses for going back some time. If i didn't, I would not renew an annual subscription. VoodooShield I like a lot.The new Malwarebytes 3 is very different to earlier versions. I can not see myself without Sandboxie.
