Hi everyone,
in this thread I want to share with you this new extension for Mozilla Firefox and Firefox-based browsers, that allows you to play YouTube videos with HTML5 and not with Flash Player.
The last update was done on July 12.
These are the informations about the add-on:
  • It is extremely light-weight with no significant memory and cpu usage.
  • Allows you to make HMTL5 player the Default player for YouTube.
  • Some resolutions (360p and 720p) are only supported in HTML5 player for Firefox.
  • Works with videos that have monetarisation enabled, which would normally play in Flash player.

Many YouTube videos will play using HTML5 in supported browsers. You can request that the HTML5 player be used if your browser doesn't use it by default.

If you encounter any problems, right-click on the player and choose "report playback issue", or let us know on the user support forums. Your feedback will help us continue to improve the player.
