Install Revo Uninstaller latest version, reboot windows into safe mode, from there run revo uninstaller, in the installed programs list find the Huorong, uninstall it from there (uninstaller from the program may fail due to safe mode, this is OK), once finished, continue the Revo uninstall wizard by selecting deep registry clean, check everything it finds regarding huorong, continue futher and it will find files belonging to the antivirus, remove those as well, finish the wizard, restart into normal mode and using System Informer app, search for remnant processes/services, shouldn't be any, but just in case.

Just a heads up re leftovers when you uninstall... A previous version left some r entries (4 or 5) that for the longest time, I was unable to delete. All it finally took was Registrar Registry Manager free (hope this isnt considered spam) from safe mode... Windows version might work too.

Recently, Microsoft has once again issued a maintenance termination announcement to Windows 10 users through the regular channel version (excluding ESU, LTSC, IoT versions), clearly setting the deadline as October 14, 2025. The security patches pushed in October will be its last official security update.

In response to the needs of a wide range of users and the subsequent issue of security protection, the following explanation is provided:
1. Huorong will continue to provide security defense for Windows 10 system and will synchronize the patches updated by Microsoft.
2. The Huorong Security Products (Personal Edition/Enterprise Edition) will continue to undergo technological and functional upgrades, covering all currently supported operating systems including Windows10; and will continue to enhance defense capabilities to ensure terminal security.

For users who are not yet upgrading to Windows11 due to work adaptation, usage habits, and other reasons, HuRong Security provides protection plans and tips: even though the Windows10 system is no longer supported by Microsoft, HuRong Security will continue to provide core security protection for the Windows10 system to meet the needs of users.

In addition, the main defense strategy of the HuRong security product covers practical functions such as "network attack interception", which can effectively intercept most attack scenarios. It is recommended that users upgrade HuRong to the latest version in time. If you have any questions about Windows10 protection or the use of HuRong security products, please feel free to contact us.

Thanks for sharing this announcement from Huorong, Allen. It's timely with Windows 10's end-of-life hitting yesterday. For those sticking with Win10 (whether through ESU or not), it's reassuring to see vendors like Huorong committing to ongoing support and updates.

That said, as a general reminder, third-party AVs can help bridge some gaps, but they don't fully replace OS-level patches from Microsoft. If anyone's on the fence about upgrading to Windows 11, it's worth checking hardware compatibility and exploring options sooner rather than later to avoid potential vulnerabilities.

Has anyone here used Huorong before? I'm curious about real-world experiences with their network attack interception features.
