Troubleshoot Impossible to install Intel RealSense Driver

I would like to know if anyone can help me install the f200 driver realsense for a dell inspiron 14 5000 5459 the installer can not find the camera. Thank you very much in advance.

I was able to install my intel graphics driver only by booting into safe mode. Try that.

The driver that you are installing does not support your platform.
Search on the Dell site the specific driver for your exact computer model.

maybe your automatic driver updater is making a mistake. Are you using the official dell updater tool? You can't trust a general driver updater, they make mistakes all the time.
It does sound very suspicious, as you said yourself, that you have 6th gen, and the driver you want to install is for 5th gen.
I would suggest to do like tim one said, and pick out the appropriate driver manually.

Please check the device manager when the camera is connected or not. You should have the following entries:


If you do not have these entries, try to install them and then install driver.
