Inexkecible Configuration

Some suggestions:

- enable UAC, it is very important!
- testing malware on your host system is not a good choice, please use a VM or at least Shadow Defender.
- backup/recovery plan is a "must to have"

What do you use in real time protection? Please add info in all the fields.

-Update your windows 10 to latest updates/OS version.
-Enable Smartscreen & UAC
-Find out if you have real time security/ list it
-DO not test malware on your Live PC
-And perform some sort of system/personal file back ups.

Would be real surprised to not already find this system infected and in need of attention.

Do you not have any real-time protection or on-demand scanners? With your config as it is, any malware could waltz its way into your system and begin causing havoc.
- At least use Windows Defender as a real-time protection software.
- Get 1-2 on-demand scanners such as Malwarebytes AntiMalware, Zemana AntiMalware and Crystal Security.
- Enable UAC to at least Default.
- Enable SmartScreen.
- Change from Adblock Plus to uBlock Origin (not important but it is a lot lighter and more effective).
- Find a backup solution such as Macrium Reflect.

First and foremost;
Enable UAC
Enable Smartscreen
Update your OS
Without these two important pieces of Windows 10 security you essentially have very little protection.
If you do test malware there is a good chancnce you may already be infected.
Do Not test malware on your host PC and testing malware should be done by experienced users!
These important issues should be taken care of before anything else is discussed concerning your config.
When you have fixed these issues please edit your config accordingly.
Thanks for sharing it with us :)

Here's what you wanna do. Enable UAC, Enable smartscreen to system-wide, use ublock origin instead of adblock. After you did that make sure you have a antivirus, you didn't list any real-time protection or on-demand scanners. If you want a free simple solution I would use WD and make sure real-time protection is enabled. Also if you test malware on your host machine be sure to use shadow defender or deep freeze. After you do all that you will have average protection, but if you want to be really safe I would add voodoo shield and zemana.

Please enable UAC, enable SmartScreen (really important), playing with malware on your real machine is really dangerous, I suggest you to use a VM ( with VMWare or VirtualBox) or using a virtualization software, such as Shadow Defender.
And you are not using anything for realtime protection?

Maybe add Avast Free, a good free AV, here is a guide by @Jack on how to have the maximum protection with Avast Free: https://malwaretips.com/threads/how...rity-2016-for-maximum-protection-guide.59880/

Add SandBoxie Free and use it while browsing to have more protection (in the latest version there are important bug fixes).

Replace Adblock with uBlock Origin.

Add a good backup solution, such as Macrium Reflect Free or AOMEI Backupper.

Add ZAM Free as on-demand scanner and maybe also MalwareBytes.

Add HTTPS Everywhere and Disconnect.

Please fill in all thread fields.

Thanks for sharing.
