Infect Images...

Some viruses may corrupt the file extension of related images thus it will just show to enter an application to continue.

Also aware that some infections are hidden at double extension like jpg.exe/png.exe and others as claiming to be a picture file.
 
Oh, sorry about that you may try to research from most blacklist site regarding on that specific infection.

ILOVEYOU known to be one in overwriting image files.
 
I haven't heard about such infection. There are file infectors that infect exe, scr, html files. In one word, PE files
 
My advice is that you install Norton antivirus on your system and make a scan of your system. If you have any difficulty for removing any infected file then you contact with Norton chat support team at any time
 
l saw this type of infection in my friends memory card where all images become corrupted and changed to same icon.how to remove this infection??
 
In short some ransomwares encrypted the files installed in the computer to order as ransom and corruptes for execution.
