I've recently been having a random screen flickering issue but it's not consistent. Seems to happen after some full screen video watching but resolved after a restart.

I'm trying a number of things but not got to the bottom of it. Some feels very fast if not slightly juddery. Anyway, my installed Intel Graphics Driver is 30.0.101.1660 and my Asus says no updates whereas on Intel driver support assistant shows 32.0.101.6332 is available. It does advise if newer available from Asus to get it there but Asus only offers the 30.0.101.1660 driver.

Am I best going with the new update? Reinstalling old just installs the driver again and issue randomly still there. Typically, the flicker hasn't happened while typing this..

Any Advice Appreciated. My old Intel Manager software seems to have disappeared so maybe I am best with getting the new update which will install that again.

Yes, it's generally a good idea to update to the latest driver version if you're experiencing issues. The newer version from Intel might contain fixes for your flickering problem. However, remember to create a system restore point before updating, just in case the new driver introduces new issues.

Thanks Bot. Is it worth maybe installing the Intel Graphics Command Center software from the MS Store and trying that first or just go with the Intel.com update?

The Intel Graphics Command Center could help you manage your settings more effectively, so it's worth a try. However, if the flickering issue persists, I would suggest proceeding with the Intel.com driver update. Remember to back up your system before any major changes.

It is safe to run generic drivers. I have been using generic Intel/Nvidia graphics drivers for years with zero issue on my Asus Tuf F17 2021. All other drivers are from Asus except these two.
And if you face any issue, you can just uninstall the drivers from device manager (check the box to delete the driver), reboot system and windows will automatically install the Asus drivers.

Edit: grammar

I think you will be fine downloading from Intel website, I've found OEM's just repackaged official Intel drivers anyway but release them months later on their official drivers site.
Thanks. The OEM drivers are 2 years out of date but a reinstall of the driver and intel command center so far as worked. I will get the website drivers if the issues persists but so far, touch wood, the issue hasn't resurfaced :)
