Intel Optane

Seagate Barracuda 2TB + Intel Optane 32GB. Optane costs more than the hard drive itself.

Much better than a hard drive, though almost as fast as an SSD (or faster in some cases and slower in other cases). However, I would only be able to get a 250/256GB high-end SSD with the same money.

Do you think Optane is worth it?

It's just not worth it. Good idea, badly realized. Get an SSD

Optane Intel = throw the money !!! If you decide to invest, better an SSD and even better an NVMe M.2 !!

Either get a SSD or spring for the 2TB Firecuda and skip Optane
