Hello all who read this, I just became aware of this site while hunting malware on my PC, and if someone would be so kind as to direct me to the proper topic to request that someone take a look at a few files that I have, that would be great!

You can start a thread in the Malware Removal Assistance forum to get malware removal help.
Also if you are suspecting that some files are infected, you can upload them to VirusTotal to check them for malware: http://www.virustotal.com/
