I feel I have to make another post here...
This is freaking me out a bit, but hey... grab the ball and run with it, right?
This site used to be just another site I visited. Like you couldn't tell, it took over 6 months for me to post an introduction and my system software configuration! I knew something was going to happen once those two threads went live, but I didn't expect my Internet usage and overall website respect to improve and increase.
This site has broken the shackles on my wrists and ankles. I believe from the moment I jumped on the VPN I use, I have been a paranoid nutcase. For some reason, I had convinced myself that I was a software pirate, hacktivist or worse. That couldn't be further from the truth. It was all about the warez, the sneaks, the tricks, the software collections... the
bragging rights. Oh, and the classic con-job - "I use a VPN, therefore I must also be a torrent junkie". Ahem, no.
Things are different now. No more craving for warez, no more craving for download sprees, no more tracker addiction. The ripple effect of my thought process on how to handle the Internet and what it offers has been quite a learning curve. Now, my laptop also reflects such maturity. This place has made me a better Internet user, as well as a more respectful hardware/software enthusiast.
Thanks
*is loading fubar2000 into a sandbox overkill? lmao*
