Would it be overkill to use OSArmor with Emsisoft Anti-Malware?

Hardly IMO. NVT OSArmor is quite good and takes a different approach which *could* work well combined with EAM's BB. Also, NVT OSArmor and Emsisoft BB has their own focuses, so you'd get the best of both worlds.

They should neither conflict due to how NVT OSArmor works AFAIK.

If you use Emsisoft Anti-Malware as the only security software in your machine, then OSarmor would be a nice addition to it.

Emsisoft monitors more stuff than OSA (drivers, dlls, etc...), however OSA allow you to create very specific rules.

EAM should popup before OSA so it will do most of the job, if you use both , OSA may block what EAM may miss
