I watched an 18 minute youtube video by Dave at Dave's Garage. Dave worked a MS coding back in 1990s+ IIRC, probably MS millionaire now a days...? He posted an informative video about ALL the problems he encountered going from copper to fiber into his house, along with brief history of internet connections and speeds. (be careful what you wish for)
