Does that means KIS with its antiransomware feature is still not good enough in protection as compared to dedicated antiransom products like Temasoft Ranstop, RansomOff and AppCheck AntiRansom Pro?

Anyone tried such dedicated antiransom products with KIS without problem? Can the antiransom feature in KIS be turned off and use a dedicated antiransom product instead to avoid conflict?

Same thing here, I tried it on 2 laptops and the gui wont open on both of them

Update: Installed the latest version of KART on two desktops, no GUI. Will try later on netbook and laptop.

I don't know whether it is the same issue, taken from Kaspersky forum KART beta thread: GUI doesn't open - Kaspersky Lab Forum, and it seems it didn't work for You... I still haven't tried it, will try soon...

With a well tweaked and updated KIS/KTS, I would say You don't need any dedicated anti-rsw tool...

KART is much weaker than KIS so you don't have to worry
as I said in the video, I doubted KART didn't connect to KSN so it was weaker than normal
I tested KIS with similar samples, it blocked almost all of them

by the way, you won't be able to install KART on top of kaspersky products because they use the same technology (system watcher and KSN)

My September installer was 1.1.2.4.0. Yesterday's copy was also 1.1.2.4.0.

I have no GUI problem with KART I installed last year. I thought new version came out with GUI problem.
