There is a new version KART 3 (Kaspersky Anti-Ransomware Tool)

Anyway all those rsw all well known, probably it would be different against true 0 day ones... also KART needs InterNet connection to better protect (KSN cloud), offline test may differ without KSN, as CruelSister showed in a video in the past...

another boring test from the same tester
according to this video, all samples were blocked by KSN/cloud. System watcher didn't have a chance to kick in

in my test with zero-day ransomwares, kaspersky anti-ransomware did better than average but not as good as appcheck

Even Kaspersky states, that ... it is a program designed to protect the users’ computers from known malware of ransomware type.
Basically a signature based AV to supplement your realtime AV, since some AVs fail to detect even several years old ransomware.
