It is advised to take all reviews with a grain of salt. In extreme cases some reviews use dramatization for entertainment purposes.
But Kaspersky Free doesn't require an Online Account whasoever

Hum I think it's not mandatory, but probably You will get from time to time some warnings to "kinfly register" ... it's with KSCloud Free You have to register in "My Kaspersky" to activate the product...

I presume K Free users here on the hub still recommend KSC over KFA?

The only reason I install KSC is to change scan mode from smart mode to On execution
