This is based on my observation from the users who used it but may varies on opinions.

-Overall Features = Kaspersky
-Detection = Kaspersky/Trend Micro
-Removal = Kaspersky
-BB = Kaspersky
-Online Banking = Kaspersky/Trend Micro
-RAM Usage = Trend Micro
-CPU Usage = Trend Micro

The thing which really known for issue in Kaspersky is the stability for the system as from others claimed to be heavy in the system.

But Kaspersky have the balance of its protection, while Trend Micro known for being based in Cloud + web filter is solid for prevention.

i have them both, running on different machines. from my experience:

Kaspersky: better protection, more features, badass firewall/HIPS!, more impact on system performance.
TrendMicro: much much lighter, somewhat lower detection/prevention rate, no advance features and simple firewall.

good luck

This is only from my own experience in testing and using the programs:

-Overall Features: I would say Trend Micro. With the new version you can get a lot more without paying for other programs.
-Detection: If it has to come down to signature database then it's Kaspersky, but if it was up to the web guards I say Trend Micro.
-Removal: Removal, meaning what is the best at it or?
-BB: Kaspersky
-Online Banking: Now online banking meaning? What is better for it? If so Kaspersky has that safe keyboard thing, so that is a bonus over Trend.
-RAM Usage: Kaspersky uses more in the tests I've done, so for the lightest I go with Trend Micro.
-CPU Usage: Same as the above statement.
