KIS has some problems here that annoy me:

1. The app starts SUPER slow. It takes 20 minutes to start that app!
2. After app is loaded, any change to the UI freezes Kaspersky!

Any ideas about changing this weird behavior? I do like Kaspersky IS!

Do you have this issue only with this program?
Did you try to exclude this program from Kaspersky's Application Manager?

To modify the rules for an application, do the following:

  1. Open Kaspersky Internet Security 2014.
  2. At the right bottom corner click Settings.

  3. In the Settings window go to the Protection Center tab and select Application Control.

  4. In the Application Control settings window click the Manage applications link in the Rules for applications, private data protection section.

  5. In the Application management, right-click a required application and select Restrictions, then move the program to the Trusted group.

If moving the program to the Trusted group will not fix your issue, in the Application management window, search for the program, then double-click on it. This should open the "Application Rules" tab.
Go to the "Exclusion" tab, and check the boxes, then click on "Save".

That's it. Let us know if it worked.
