Sound Options
- Select "Standard normalization"
- Tick "Regain volume"
- Click "View menu : switch to expert mode"
- Tick "Respect video aspect ratio when changing window size"
- You may select "Last Used" in "Windows size"
- Untick "Resize to movie bounds"
- Set "Player position: " “Leave as is“.
- Uncheck “Pause video on minimize“.
- Windows Vista/7/8 users may set "Default audio playback device and audio stream" as “WASAPI Audio Renderer“
- If you have selected “WASAPI Audio Renderer“ then click “Properties“.
- You may set "Max volume level and sound boost" to 100 %
- Tick "Int32" & "Float" in "Output sample formats (related to sound quality)"
- You must set "WASAPI mode" as "Shared Mode"
- If experiencing bad video quality. Then try disabling hardware decoding.
- Untick all decoders that has "hardware" as shown below.
- To use external codecs first install external codec.
- Then disable using internal codec by right clicking and selecting "Uncheck all" as shown below.
- Now only external installed codecs will be used.
- By clicking on icon as shown below you can set Light alloy media player to stay on top.
