I made a configuration a few weeks ago and wanted to hear peoples thoughts, it was mostly negative. Looking at it again I didn't like it either, so I thought I'd give this a second try.

Main: Bitdefender Free, AFWall+, Prey, Xprivacy, AdAway, SuperSU

Other but relevant: OpenVPN, bitwarden, LastPass, AndIodine, AIMSICD, Magisk, FreeOTP, Titanium, Signal

Note: My device will be rooted and I plan to install outside of the play store. The reasoning for this is to move away from Google products. And before you bring it up, yes I have looked at LineageOS, and no, it is not for me. Also I am unsure if Magisk can be used to replace SuperSU, if so I plan to remove SuperSU from the list.

Let me know what you think, and if I should add or remove anything.

@LukeLovesSecurity, I had missed your original Android configuration.
Thank you for sharing this 2nd improved version!:)

What are your thoughts  about an App locker?
Although I use Norton, your drawing away from relying upon The Google Store prompted me to look elsewhere.
Here are (2) APK Apps I'd found on Softpedia, App Locker Pro & App Lock:
PS Mention of OpenVPN lead me to read more about it here: OpenVPN - Wikipedia
Thanks for THAT too!!!:):):)
