hey mates, how are u :)
anyone knows if its possible to make games compatible with linux? im atm on a dualboot win8.1 upd1 /linux. only using win8 for gaming. would be nice if some ways exist that u can switch the compatible mode from the game exe to linux or just that games running on linux.

Wine is the obvious choice, for running Windows apps on Linux:

I've heard some good things from people using CrossOver, though I've not tried it myself and it's not free (though it does have a trial):

PlayOnLinux is also pretty good for running games (providing the game is listed in it's database, but loads are), it installs them and auto-configures the game so it will play on Wine with no hassle. A personal favourite of mine;)

Steam is on Linux of course, with a growing range of games:

Worst case scenario you could always 'cheat' and run a Windows VM on Linux to play your games.
