Where the buses don't run
After a brief spat where the notorious Anonymous hacking collective sniped at Lulzsec, the 'upstart' hacking collective, for crowing about low-rent Denial of Service attacks on the CIA and 4chan websites, the two groups have apparently teamed up.

A release from Lulzsec, which is reprinted below, announces Operation Antisec. This new operation asks people to hack government information and deface internet enemies with the word Antisec. The group also asks for support for several hacktivist websites.

While the actions of both groups are basically the same...hacking,Anonymous and Lulzsec ,as far as I saw, had different targets.
Anonymous is always ready to "fight" any government action that limits the free access to internet to their citizens ,while Lulzsec hacks are more random and have no real believes behind them.So I would never expected to see a news like this.
As for operation Antisec ...I wouldn't be surprised to read a title news saying : 40 Anonymous and Lulzsec Hackers were Arested..... :P

I like Anon, I think what they do and what they stand for is lulzy and actually rebellious. I wonder what these two groups could do now that they are teamed up.

i always smile about hackers show-off, if i had the skills to be one of them i will stay really anonymous like a ghost ^^

Well both of them are notorious for hacking and they are also black hat. This will be more teamwork for that team in hacking.

I support anonymous. What they do maybe the wrong way of doing it, but the reason is noble. They want to fight censorship and preserve freedom on the Internet.

LulzSec hackers 'hit' UK crime agency Soca website

Hacking group Lulz Security has said it was responsible for taking offline the website of the UK Serious Organised Crime agency (Soca).

Www.soca.gov.uk was unavailable on Monday afternoon, with an intermittent service restored later in the day.

As the agency launched an investigation, LulzSec tweeted: "Tango down - in the name of #AntiSec".

This is the stuff that makes me laugh. Even though this is against the law, and they could get arrested if they were caught. I love the Internet, do you think more attacks like this are in store in the future?

LulzSec Suspect Taken Into Custody

The rumors circle around this Pastebin post which claims that LulzSec had acquired the UK's 2011 census data.

Note that anybody can post to pastebin.com.

Soon after, news came that Scotland Yard has arrested a 19-year-old in Essex.

One of them got arrested...We should get used to see this type of news because others will follow....and lets keep in mind that this guys didn't hack anything big....basically just some websites..which even if they belong to the government they are still just some websites.
If one day they will start doing some serious hacking than we should expect to read "LulzSec Network was arrested." :P .

I think Lulzsec and Anon know when to strike, and know when to lay low. I wouldn't be surprised to see these hacker groups taken down in the near future. I'm pretty sure governments have inside information that the public doesn't know about these groups. But when will they strike again? Will they ever be caught should be the question.

Teen Brit Hacker 'Could Face US Extradition'
A British teenager suspected of masterminding global computer hacking group LulzSec from his bedroom could face a fight against extradition to the US.
Ryan Cleary was arrested at his detached family home in Essex as part of a Scotland Yard and FBI probe into the group.
The arrest came a day after the collective claimed to have brought down the US Central Intelligence Agency's website .
The group has also said it was responsible for hacking attempts on the UK's Serious Organised Crime Agency, the US Senate and high profile attacks on Sony and Nintendo.
The 19-year-old is being held by police after the dawn swoop on his home - which prompted shock among the university student's neighbours.
Detectives believe Cleary was a "major player" with LulzSec and reportedly kept American authorities closely informed over the "pre-planned intelligence-led operation".

Its like we can expect more hackers from Lulzsec to be arrested and custody it.

Eventually a lot of the members of Lulzsec will be caught. I don't think that will stop them from hacking.

what i said a beginning of the thread? hahaha , true hackers always keep their mouth shut, others who show off will show off in jail ^^
