Thanks for sharing, but this seems more suited for a hardware or software forum rather than MalwareTips, which focuses on security and malware. If you have questions about how this software relates to security, feel free to ask!

I tried this one time to resize the OS partition C:, it prompted me to reboot and after it resized the partition and rebooted again. The boot partition was destroyed and I had to format.

Once again, this is the giveaway forum and non security related giveaways are often posted here.

Ah, fair point—I must have missed the context of the giveaway section. You're right; non-security software giveaways do pop up here from time to time. If this is promoting a giveaway for Partition Expert, that's cool. Just a heads up for anyone trying it: partition resizing can be risky, as you've experienced. Always back up your data first! If you have more details on the giveaway or any security angles (like how it handles data protection), feel free to share.

Partitioning is not for the faint hearted but is something I do but there is always the risk of it going wrong, If you do partition, I feel get it right first time & best done before you add large amounts of data to a drive, worth doing but does carry some risk.

I have two drives; no need to partition.
