Haven't really tried ASD so it wouldn't be fair for me to say MBAM Pro, but MBAM Real time is handy and good too. will have to have a look.

Wasnt ASD one of the few that have a cloud based system?

well on one hand anvi is Free and new
without support it will die like any other product
it seems it has potentiol

for the moment it's a bit bloated / slow
but never hurt to try it

as for the answer it's MBAM PRO for sure

I'm Going with Malwarebytes Pro (even though I just used their trial) for IP sheild, ability to use schedule in the background without Admin request, and Pro sells for $25 for a lifetime subscription.
Anvisoft - Free but too many false positives.

if anvismart want to make it to the top

the company need to Focus on the GUI and the Detection/removal
there are a lot of pretty toys out there /no need to mention names /
will make you think that it's doing something and in the end it will say clean nothing detected
if you know what i mean

to be honest i really Like this anvi smart

I suppose I can still give it a try but is this a comparison between Pro and Free?

MBAM Pro only adds real time protection if memory serves me right

What are the features of ASD?

Everyone is basing on the FP of ASD versus MBAM Detection but OP placed it as MBAM Pro, or was that a mistake?

MBAM Pro just add a realtime and webfilter features for a good 30mb resources usage. the webfilter is almost useless (many FP) and the RT engine just use its signature DB.

If that is the case, from what I see in ASD page, their realt time protection lacks webguard:
Free Real-Time Protection
It protects your computer by many guards function, including privacy guard, startup guard, process guard, process guard, behavior guard and files guard. All these real-time function absolutely free. With Anvi Smart Defender's real-time protection, you can surf on the Internet without anxiety about online threats.

So this still brings me to the same question: What exactly are we comparing between the two products?

I still believe comparing a free against a paid product is not as clear, unless someone specify exactly which modules/features we are to base to compare them.

For example:
Some users say ASD have many FP while I have noticed MBAM detection aint the greatest, but ASD has cloud while MBAM doesnt.

comparing the two is is like comparing a ford model T with bugatti veyron
ford model T been ASD
ASD has cloud while MBAM doesnt, that is true but if MBAM had the ASD Cloud
many user's would drop it , because the ASD cloud is no advantage at all,
if you stripped away everything form Malwarebytes and left it only its engine and its updates it would still out shine ASD,

there are plenty of malware in the malware hud see for your self ..

Exactly my point. It wouldnt be a fair comparison unless it is listed exactly which components we are to compare.

MBAM for manual scanning, tried ANVI but it has a lot of false positive detection's and not even detected more the half of the 1000 malware samples i downloaded here...

anvi is still new so just like the rest who started, lets give them time to improve their product..
