Meta CEO and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has announced one of the biggest ever updates to WhatsApp, with the launch of WhatsApp Communities which adds massive group chats and calls to the platform.
Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has just unveiled one of the biggest ever updates to WhatsApp, which will change the messaging app forever and make it more like a social network.

WhatsApp Communities will make it possible for people to combine related group chats under one banner into private social networks.

For example, schools could combine all of their group chats into one community along with a parents' WhatsApp chat in order to deliver important announcements to everyone.

Or, in a work setting, a restaurant could organise three different WhatsApp group chats for various staff teams, all managed by one common admin.

Can it become more like Telegram? A second Facebook sounds scary. :D
Although, judging by the text below, it is partially the functionality of telegram that they want to implement.
Yeah. Just what the world needs, another Facebook where free speech is what they want it to be.

Let's not miss this huge update!
  • Admin Delete – Group admins will be able to remove errant or problematic messages from everyone’s chats.
Finally you'll be able to moderate WhatsApp Groups the proper way.

Clickbait, scaremongering title by the trash tabloid dailystar, Whatapp is adding functionality which was available in Telegram and users were requesting since long back.
